Samantha Parks started her dance journey at a young age and loved training in contemporary, lyrical, ballet, and jazz styles. With Y Dance In Motion, she competed at both regional and national levels in high school. In 2024, Samantha graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. In college, she performed in numerous faculty and student productions, and trained under Cynthia McLaughlin in modern dance. As a choreographer, Samantha enjoys creating research-driven work. Her teaching experience includes work with elementary and youth dancers in studio and school settings, and she currently works as a 5th-grade teacher. Samantha moved from New Hampshire to Connecticut in 2024 and dances with River Valley Dance Project.
